Forward in the Face of Fear
My Life for Christ in the Muslim World
by Edgar Feghaly
The pages in this book tell the riveting story of a missionary preaching the gospel while bombs detonate nearby. It tells of a couple who pressed forward in the face of fear to bring the message of salvation.
Born in 1949 in Beirut, Lebanon, Edgar Feghaly learned the realities of war as a young child. Saved after being hurled through the air from a bomb explosion, Edgar also learned the realities of God’s presence and peace.
With a consuming desire to serve the Lord and a deep conviction of God’s power to protect him, Edgar witnessed astounding miracles of provision, protection, and, most of all, the conversion of some of the hardest to reach people. Set against the backdrop of Middle Eastern wars, struggles, and chaos, his decades of ministry among Muslims is a gripping testimony to the protection of God and the power of the gospel.
This book will challenge your faith, strengthen your courage, and deepen your resolve to go forward for Christ in the face of any fear.

Knowing about Brother Feghaly but knowing his story intrigued me to read this book. I am motivated. Reading of thr difficulties of childhood and young adult years as a Christian in Lebanon was inspiring. Brother Feghaly and his wife are wonderful examples to every Christian who is striving to Glorify God in this world. Bob Bickey on Mar 6, 2017
The ministry and testimony of Edgar Feghaly has for years been a challenge and encouragement to many Christians and ministry leaders. Now, his exciting life story is available for us to read and rejoice in the power of God as He worked through the Feghalys, and their partners in ministry, to reach hundreds and even thousands of people for Christ as they planted churches in a region that many would deem too dangerous.
As I read, I was convicted. One chapter tells of Lebanese Christians faithfully meeting together to worship the Lord even in the midst of a battle where rockets were flying and bombs were exploding. It made me think what are the conditions which we would find excusable to miss church?
Read amazing accounts of what God can do when we surrender ourselves into His hands to be used however He chooses. One account tells us of D. L. Moody hearing a preacher say, "It has yet to be seen what God can do through the life of one man fully yielded to Him." Moody's response was, "By the grace of God, I will be that man!" I believe we can easily say Bro. Feghaly is that kind of man.
Here is a man who is grateful for all that Jesus has done for him. He loves the Lord and knows that we are here to bring glory to our Savior. Bro. Feghaly has put his hand to the plow and has not turned back, he has not recoiled, but he has pressed forward - Forward in the Face of Fear. Phillip Jones on Apr 6, 2016
