Description

A Glorious Church

A Study of the Origin, Identity, Heritage, and Integrity of the New Testament Church

Is there a church on planet Earth that resembles the church that Jesus Christ established? If so, what does it look like? Where can it be found? What is its function and relevance in today’s Christian culture?

Confusion abounds in Christendom regarding the church of Jesus Christ. It seems that the church is constantly being reinvented. Is this God’s intention, or is it the result of a cultural effort to redefine the church?

Many of the churches that exist today have been birthed by movements and political powers rather than by our Lord. Men and movements throughout the centuries have obscured the scene with speculation and human traditions. The identity of the church has become varied and diverse. Some believe the church to be universal and invisible while others believe it to be outdated and impractical.

So what of the church that Jesus built?

A Glorious Church cuts through the confusion, the questions, the politics, and the traditions. It asks tough questions and then answers t hem—clearly and reasonably—from God’s Word and from the records of history. Regardless of your perspective, there are issues raised in this book that need to be addressed afresh by the Christian community.

If you desire to be a part of God’s original intent for His church, then this book will give you an accurate understanding of the origin, the identity, the heritage, and the integrity of that church. It will help you discern modern error and align your life with the purpose and plan that God still blesses.
